Several Sentenced to Arkansas Department of Corrections

Several people were sentenced to the Arkansas Department of Corrections during the month of July, when Monroe County Circuit court was in session.

 

Matthew Parham pled guilty to Theft by Receiving, a Class C Felony. He was sentenced to 30 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. This sentence will run concurrent with time to be served in other counties.

  PARHAM, MATTHEW

 Nathaniel Irvin pled guilty to Theft of Property, a Class D felony. He was sentenced to 4 years probation. 1 year of his probation will be supervised.

  IRWIN, NATHANIEL

 Leeton Horne pled guilty to Residential Burglary. He was sentenced to 24 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

  HORNE, LEETON

  Alex Salten pled guilty and was sentenced to 28 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

   

      Richard Laureano pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance. He was sentenced to 18 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

 Floyd L. Grimes Jr. pled guilty to Felon in Possession of Firearm and Filing a False Police Report. He was sentenced to 2 years probation. 1 of those years will be supervised. Fines of $250.00, costs of $150.00 are to be paid. The judge ordered Mr. Grimes successfully complete an alcohol counseling program.

 

 Randall Nofzinger pled guilty to Theft of Property, a class D felony. He was sentenced to 18 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

 Sandra Parker pled guilty to Theft of Property, a class D felony. She was sentenced to 2 years probation. 6 months of probation will be supervised.  Fines of $250, costs of $150 and $250 Public Defender Fees were ordered. Ms. Parker will also pay $2,686.00 restitution to the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission.

  

 William Cobbs pled guilty to Commercial Burglary, a class C felony. He was sentenced to 48 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

  

  Lekeita Palmer pled guilty to Battery 2nd, a class D felony. She was sentenced 5 years probation. 1 year of her probation will be supervised. Fines of $500, costs of $150 and $250 Public Defender Fees were ordered.

  

 Mary Williams pled guilty to 2nd degree Forgery, a class C felony. She was sentenced 4 years probation. 6 months of her probation will be supervised. $250 fines, $150 costs and $250 Public Defender Fees were ordered. She will also pay $1,145 in restitution.

  

 Reginald James pled guilty to Assault & Battery 2nd , a class D felony. He was sentenced to 2 years probation. 6 months of his probation will be supervised. $250 fines, $150 costs and $250 Public Defender Fees were ordered.

 

  DeBrian Harris pled guilty to Felon in Possession of a Firearm, a Class D felony. He was sentenced to 36 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections.

  

 Gary Mitchell pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance, a class C felony. He received a deferred sentence of 24 months. $450 fines, 150 costs were ordered.

  

 

 

Michael Stephens pled guilty to Terroristic Threatening, a class D felony. He was sentenced to 60 months in the Arkansas Department of Corrections. This sentence is to run concurrent with time to be served from Arkansas County.

  

 Arthur Williamson pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance, a class B felony. He was sentenced to 3 years probation.  6 months of his probation will be supervised. $500 fines, $150 costs and$250 Public Defender Fees were ordered.

  

 Michael Hughes pled guilty to reduced charges of Assault, a class A misdemeanor. $250 fines, $150 costs were ordered.

 Charles Witcher pled guilty to Theft by Receiving a Class A Misdemeanor. He was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation. $250 fines, $150 costs were ordered. Witcher was sentenced under Act 346.

Bryan Terry plead guilty to False Imprisonment, a Class C Felony. He was sentenced to 10 years unsupervised probation. $500 Fines, $150 costs were ordered.
