Antonio Lamar Dixon, age 35, of Brinkley was transported to the Monroe County Detention Facility on Sunday, March 1st, after fleeing the City of Brinkley and then being apprehended after fleeing from Jonesboro/Craighead Co authorities. On March 1st, he also appeared before Judge T. David Carruth in Clarendon District Court for his arraignment hearing on charges stemming from incident occurring in City of Brinkley last week. Dixon has been formerly charged with each of the following: 1 count of Rape, Class Y Felony; 1 count of Aggravated Robbery, Class Y Felony; 1 count of Aggravated Residential Burglary, Class Y Felony; 1 count of Kidnapping, Class Y Felony; 1 count of Theft, Class B Felony; and 1 count of Terroristic Threatening, Class A Felony; Dixon's bond has been set at $1,000,000.00. His next scheduled court appearance has been set for March 23 in Monroe County Circuit Court.
